HBO's "Rome".

Battle of Pharsalus - Wikipedia

Been watching the HBO series Rome again. Found their handling of this critical event in the military career of Julius Caesar quite interesting.

History can turn on one battle like this one.

I really liked that series. Ray Stevenson who played Titus Pullo did an excellent job portraying Blackbeard in the series Black Sails.:coolsmiley:

Even though it wasn't historically correct I liked how the characters were either real pirates that lived or from the book Treasure Island. The music was beautifully done with instruments that existed in that era. Michael Bay did an excellent job with Black Sails. It was hard to pick a favorite character for me even though I favored Anny Bonney the most.

For some reason Prime Video only has the first episode. Hoping they do get more.

If we run out of good things to watch on prime will move to another network so as to watch Rome..

James Purefoy in "Rome" and "The Following".

The Following - Wikipedia

James Purefoy makes a very good villain and or would be hero except for his possession of some kind of fatal flaw.
