Need CFP

I'm in Ohio and I need a good Certified Financial Planner. Most all of my investments are with Vanguard and a couple of business's which for the most do not require much from me. My CPA isn't much help as they just tell me to save and don't spend. Anybody have any good recommendations? Fee's?
Thanks

If you have sufficient assets with Vanguard, you can schedule a phone conference with a CFP and it is free. I have done it several times.

Interesting. I did not know that. I manage some of it myself and have them manage some of it. Surprisingly I beat them by just 1/10th of a point. I'll reach out to them.

Index funds beat professional management so avoid any financial planner who wants to put you into managed funds or load funds with a sales commission. If you have high school math skills it's easy to use a calculator to figure out how much you need to save.

If you haven't yet, go to paulmerriman.com, read his free ebook, Get Smart or Get Screwed. He also has many additional resources and recommends a DYI mix for Vanguard funds as well as a few others. I've been reading him since 2005 and have adequately maintained my retirement.

You want one here or in Ohio?
