Governor didn’t get vaccinated
 

At noon Governor DeSantis Stated he will be waiting until it’s his turn. Flordia Medical staff, and those over 65 first. Guess when he was in TV was just an observer

sounds fair. he probably isn't high risk & would rather save it for someone who really needs it.

Shots are only for essential workers :)

And if he got the vaccine, he would have been criticized - he is only 43.

He is low risk, probably in one of the last groups the get the vaccine

Very honorable to let someone who needs it more to have it. If he could give everyone $2000, they would complain anyway. Can’t win

No offense he has been playing down the virus from the beginning, it would be hypocritical for him to get the vaccine at this time.

My hats off to Governor Desantis for his refusal to jump the line for the covid vaccine. Unlike some on both sides of the aisle that did jump to the front, and then said they were merely doing it to "Show others they had nothing to fear". Yeah, right.

What do you mean “playing down”? Do you mean that he didn’t lock everything down and everyone up because he believes in a free country and people’s rights? You mean the state with the largest senior population has managed to continue to run and still keep the functioning without collapsing the economy and not be the hotbed of death?

We tried to let this thread run for awhile, hoping the discussion would focus on vaccine prioritization. Predictably, it veered into political statements. Many posts were removed.
