Lincoln vs Chevrolet

I have driven Lincoln SUV’s for years, but I now need to have tow capability. After a lot of research and test drives, I am surprised to find what gave us the luxury of a Black Tie Lincoln with the 5000 lb Tow Capacity we need.
It is called a Chevrolet Traverse High Country. It has all the quiet and smooth ride of our Lincoln’s with the Tow Capacity we needed.
Go CHEVY!

We went from a Cadillac to this Traverse and absolutely love it.

Never liked Lincoln. Ride is too cushy

Expedition, V6 twin turbos, pulls like a diesel in the mountains, 400+ ft lbs of torque, in summer I ramp and short tow a 12000 lb boat to storage.

Love our Premier Traverse!

Another happy Traverse owner here. We bought a 2020 High Country in May to replace a 2014 Grand Cherokee Summit. Our choices in vehicles are somewhat limited in that we want to be able to tow our car with all wheels down behind our motorhome. Most that have that capability are either too small or too large (Chevy Tahoe and many pickup trucks, for examples) for us. The Grand Cherokee was nice and we actually used it off-road quite a bit one summer in Colorado, but we don't need that capability any longer and the Traverse has much more space for passengers and junk, and is much smoother riding. When I studied the stats before buying was surprised to see that the Traverse actually has more cargo room with all seats down than the Tahoe. We made a trip to our old residence in Ohio in the fall and hauled a ton of stuff inside the car plus pulled a big U-haul to TV with no issues at all. Missing a few little things that we expected on a top of line car like auto wipers, but overall we're very happy with our choice.

I for one would never select a GM product over a Ford product.

I feel the same way. It seems to me that at every level, Ford makes better vehicles.

BMW x7. Built in SC. So much more luxury for the money. Excellent build.
