I am new in The Villages and I am wondering of anybody knows of any lighted Pickleball courts. I was told there are not any inside The Villages. Are there any outside The Villages?

Yes, down pass Leesburg somewhere? And maybe the facility/horse arena ranch off cr25? Most in villages play in mornings and with groups during the day till dark.

Pickleball makes enough noise during daylight hours, last thing needed is that racket all night!

Amen to that so glad we are not close to a court. New home and others beware when you buy, early until courts close and will be a major irritant too much noise .

Grand Oak Resorts in Lady Lake has indoor air conditioned pickleball courts. $22 per hour per court, or $6 a person open play. More info on their Facebook page at the link.

That info came straight from their Facebook page, no wonder their business is off, they can't even bother to update their own sites.

Why would they bother...
 

to provide an update when they're out of business? And please don't mention "being considerate to the customer" as they've closed and have no customers. It's different world we live in....

If Grand Oaks Resorts is out of business, then they should also stop offering weddings, banquets, carriage rides, RV parking, horse shows, equine boarding and riding stables. Just saying.

Did you just assume they were out of business because they didn't update their Facebook page, or did you actually do any research? I researched and couldn't any info about them closing or going out of business. What I did find about Grand Oaks Resorts are the following upcoming events. Awfully suspicious for a place that has gone out of business.

I personally believe they didn't update their Facebook page, because they want you to think they have more activities then they actually do, and when you arrive in your RV for stay and ask about playing, they can say, Oh, we forget to update our website. It takes about a minute to delete your Facebook account. Another possibility is the poster who said pickleball no longer exists, actually made a mistake. You however, chose to assume the worse and accused an TOTV poster of something they didn't do.

We stayed at the Grand Oaks RV park over Thanksgiving. We went to play pickleball and were told the indoor courts were gone and the space is being converted to more stables.
