The people who forced their way into the Capitol Building were mostly on camera and should be hunted down and brought to justice!

Watching this disgusting display on TV yesterday was beyond sad.

I agree, at least for as long as this thread lasts. ("someone" will shortly come by and make a blatantly political statement that will close the thread). Of course , we should say the same about all the other rioters, looters and law breakers of the past several years.

Please keep in mind this is not political, it's criminal what was done.

Watched events unfold here in UK on the tv, and internet.
Guessed there would be some trouble on the streets, but what unfolded was way beyond imagination.
There is no logical excuse for what happened
So sad for USA, and its credibility around the world.

The rioting and looting this year were wrong and the violators should be punished but yesterday was different it was an assault on our democracy storming one our most sacred places it’s beyond belief that all people don’t condemn this vile act , as someone who spent almost 40 years of my life in different hot spots and saw things like this , I never believed it could happen here

A few photos have already shown some to be antifa protesters who have been rioting other places.

Also call to your attention, interruption of PEACEFUL demonstrations by groups like the "proud boys", etc well before any violence were censured here and considered political

They are a scruffy-looking bunch, and look more like hoodlums than future leaders. ( I hope not!)

Very sad that people would use photos that lead right back to the very sites where these terrorists got there slant on life from , this post is going no where fast and I’m already ashamed at many of post , not coming back to even look again , but I’m sure it will be gone fast

I was a brand-new teenager, mostly interested in teasing my hair into a big bubble and wondering when my parents were ever going to let me ride in cars with boys.

I clearly remember Kennedy's assassination. Lost innocence.

We were glued to our television screens. (We had only one screen -- like most families.)

I remember Black Jack, the Riderless Horse.

I remember John John's salute.

We mourned as a nation -- together.

I also remember saying to my dad, "Why are they bringing Oswald out into that crowd? Somebody is going to take a pot-shot at him."

And then, out stepped Ruby. We saw it happen. Live. Violence. Right there on our screen.

Yesterday, as I watched the attack on our sacred, fragile Democracy, I again said, "Why." But -- yesterday, that question was rhetorical. I already knew the answer.
