100 FREE and Low Cost Spay/Neuter Vouchers Now Available

YOUR Humane Society SPCA has received funding for their “Big Fix” Spay/Neuter Voucher program to provide 100 free or reduced cost spay/neuter vouchers to qualifying Sumter County residents' dogs and cats to begin the new year. Jona Bumstead, Shelter Director, announced that “so many pet owners are facing some of their greatest financial challenges today. Thanks to donations from our supporters, YOUR Humane Society SPCA can help at least 100 local pets from needlessly reproducing. The added expense of feeding and vetting so many additional pets can put a large financial burden on a household with an already limited income. Before funding runs out, it is strongly encouraged that Sumter pet owners contact our shelter soon for details.”

Did you know that puppies and kittens can also reproduce at young as FOUR MONTHS OLD? Be part of the solution as a responsible pet owner and have your pets spayed or neutered before you are facing a litter of unwanted puppies or kittens who could be facing an uncertain future. Prevent any suffering from abandonment, homelessness or possible euthanasia. Contact the shelter either at 352-793-9117 or send an email to bigfix@hsspca.org to see if you qualify and for the number of pets you need neutered BEFORE it's too late. The voucher program includes a Rabies vaccination if needed. ALL breeds are eligible for this program!

Please SHARE this with anyone you think could benefit from their "Big Fix" Spay/Neuter Voucher program.

YOUR Humane Society SPCA is a 501(c)3 non-profit, no-kill organization helping animals in need throughout their community as Sumter County’s oldest and largest no-kill shelter. Donations directly help to cover the cost of saving, treating and caring for neglected, abused and abandoned animals. Learn more about them at hsspca.org, 352-793-9117, on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter or visit them at 994 CR 529A, in Lake Panasoffkee, FL.
