Golf Cart Insurance

Looking for a golf cart insurer for TV. Currently have Foremost and their rates keep going up every year. $55.00 increase this year for the same coverage. Total premium $171 for a golf cart valued at $6,000.

Statefarm, but I also have the house and car with them which makes it cheaper.

We use Foremost through The Village Ins Co. we have 2 carts and have not seen a bill yet but don’t remember what we paid last year so we shall see.

I've had Foremost thru the Villages Insurance Agency since my cart was new in 2011. The initial year it was $140 and it has been $90 to $100 every year since including the current. Maybe you should call the agency who handles that account and give the same scenario. See what their response is, they can't say everyone is paying that amount, because their not.

I have a neighbor who doesn't have any insurance, he said he worked for an insurance company for 20 years in Jacksonville and that his homeowners policy covers his cart. I have checked into that, and my policy will cover my cart if I'm using the cart to play golf and to go to and from the course. In my case, I only use my cart for golf, no other personal use, so I would consider dropping insurance if mine went up a lot.
