Looking to minimize the exterior upkeep to my villa. I will be expanding the planting beds with drought tolerant plants and stone mulch but do want some soft landscaping as well. Most of the villas have extended concrete patios and I want to create a balanced landscape. I've seen it on several of the HGTV/DIY television shows but have not seen it in person. Has anyone replaced all or part of their turf (grass) with artificial turf? If so, who did the work? Would be interested in any feedback as to legality (do not want to violate any architectural ordinances)!
