Nearly two dozen nursing home residents in Norway die within days of getting vaccine
Nearly two dozen nursing home residents in Norway died within days of receiving their first stick with the COVID-19 vaccine, triggering a warning from health officials for sick patients over the age of 80 years old. The Norwegian Medicines Agency in a press release on Friday revealed 23 patients died shortly after being stuck with the Pfizer/BioNTech shot for coronavirus. Of those deaths, 13 have been autopsied, with results suggesting that common side effects from the vaccine likely caused the high death toll.
Sigurd Hortemo, chief physician at the Norwegian Medicines Agency, said that typical reactions to the vaccine — like fever and nausea — “may have contributed to the fatal outcome in some frail patients.” Pfizer and BioNTech are working with the Norwegian regulator to investigate the deaths. Norway’s health officials in wake of the deaths have warned the shot may be too risky for those who are suffering from severe underlying conditions and are over the age of 80. “For those with the most severe frailty, even relatively mild vaccine side effects can have serious consequences,” the Norwegian Institute of Public Health said, according to Bloomberg. “For those who have a very short remaining life span anyway, the benefit of the vaccine may be marginal or irrelevant.” The agency emphasized the recommendation does not mean younger, healthier people should avoid being vaccinated. |
Well thanks for the sad news....oh and how many people are now immune to the vaccine mr. happy?????

Those patients were running out of money anyway.. you can still get Covid19 for up to 14 days after the vaccine.
These were also Terminally ill patients at different nursing homes! |

This information from OP is good to know, I will add it to my calculus of risk vs reward for the Pfizer vaccine.
As for the term “terminally ill” we are all going to die (unless you are like Elijah and taken up in a chariot of fire). The vaccine seems to have shortened whatever time the Norwegian nursing home patients would have had. I guess no one in the trials group was quite so frail. |
These majority of these patients were terminal in the first place.
A common cold would probably have put them over the edge as well. There will undoubtably be other isolated incidents such as this as more becomes known about after effects for some medical groups. Would not have put me off having the Pfizer/BioNTec vaccine. Just greatful to have had it. JMO. |
New drugs/vaccines are generally tested on people age 18-75 on the first go-around. Also not in pregnant women. You want to understand the safety profile in healthy adults before testing the drug/vaccine in more vulnerable populations. We haven't had the luxury of doing the latter yet, but more studies are in the pipeline.

So there have been over 7000 adverse reactions to the vaccine and 66 deaths from it in the UK. Tell me again why anyone would take this vaccine when there are simple treatments available like Hydroxochloroquine, Vitamin C, Arethromyacin and Zinc without any dangerous or life threatening side effects?

Because there have been roughly 400,000 deaths in the US from covid compare that to 66 deaths worldwide from the virus vaccine.

or is it 400,000 deaths in the US with covid symptoms? If someone dies of a heart attack and had a common cold, do we say the cold caused it? |
