We did it!:pepper2: We signed on a new build last week. We will be moving in on November 3rd as happy newbie's to TV. Needless to say, we are very excited.:2excited:

It is amazing how fast they build these homes. From what I heard most are very satisfied with the quality of their homes. It is interesting, we came down to sign on a "Fern". However, we were put up in a Lantana & loved the layout & feel of the home. So at the the last minute we changed the model. We are happy with our model change.

Any helpful hints on moving would be appreciated.

Welcome to Buttonwood ---we will be closing on 10/27 only a few days earlier ---They do build quickly !! I have not really had anyone say they were not satisfied with the quality of the homes !!

We liked the Fern, however we were able to get almost 200 sq feet more house for not much more money in the Lantana. We also, really felt comfortable in the Lantana layout when we stayed there. We liked the large kitchen eating area in the Fern but were able to get a very nice kitchen eating area in the Lantana with a 2 foot stretch. It is amazing what a 2 foot stretch across the back of the house can do.

Congrats! The Lantana is a beautiful floorplan! I'm sure you will love it. We close on Oct 12 in Pennecamp so we will be sort-of neighbors. Have fun and enjoy!!!!

Congratulations Jaspal! Your new home sounds beautiful. My husband and I just sold our condo on the east coast and are closing on our cottage home on Delwood Way on October 1st. We've never owned a new house (our current one was built in 1927) and are looking forward to having everything new! We are also looking forward to biking, swimming and golfing in TV.

Have you looked into phone, cable and computer access yet? We found the best deal was Direct TV through Century Link. It had the greatest variety for much less money. We will have the premier package, which includes lots of sports, NFL ticket, Yes Network, and movies. We also got our DSL but are opting out of phones for now and will be using our cell phones.

Other than that, we are newbies too and will learn as we go.
