Is anyone taking recycle aluminum cans
 

Last year, before the pandemic started, the Lions club had barrels at each of the mail stations for recycle aluminum pop and beer cans. The barrels were taken away, don't know if it was because of Covid or because it was something to do about the Lions club. And now, we don't even have recycle pickup on our trash day.

Is there any place accepting these pop cans or should I just start throwing them in the trash? I've been conditioned to saving them for so long that it sure is hard to teach and Old Dog a new trick.

Just put them in your trash. They will be recycled by Covanta, the company that processes the waste for The Villages.
