So glad to see this GMR site back up and running again. I'm pretty sure they have the vaccine allocations worked out this time.

All that remains for most of us, registered and on the wait list, is the wait.

The somewhat disquieting side effect is not knowing whether you are next or number 26,479 or 37679 or _ ? _!

Just now (Feb 4 at 8:20pm), I received an email from Safe Restart confirming my appointment for my second shot at the 466 vaccination location. The confirmation appointment is for the same date and time that I had been given when I made the appointment for my first shot back on Jan. 13. The barcode is the same too.

The Safe Restart (GMR) system is working the way I hoped it would.

What exact date did you actually fill out the request for the vaccine?

Why wait unless you can't travel? There are a number of sites that you can follow that open (usually on the evening news) and can find one within an hour and a half. Groveland in Lake County is one, several of our neighbors have got theirs there and no appointment, check their website for updates, also CDRHealth covers several counties but they are appointments only sites. I think Volusia opens online for appointments on Monday morning with vaccines on Tuesday and Wednesday. Point is don't wait, it takes some time and persistence to check often and watch the news but things are opening up.

I filled out the registration on Monday, Jan. 11. I heard on the news that is the day that GMR had a "glitch" in their computer system. That is why I contacted GMR and explained that people who registered AFTER me were getting their codes and making appointments.
