Need a few boxes
Any suggestions for businesses or residents who have a few used boxes ? We are not needing enough to move, but have a good amount of household items in good condition and not suitable to put in sacks, that we would like to donate to a good cause, as well as gently used clothing (which could go in sacks if necessary). Tried Publix with no luck, but would take any, hardware, liquor, or used boxes from a residential move. Also, usually give to Goodwill, but some chatter about them being not the idea in a charity. Any advice from others that are in the Villages like St. Vincent de Paul ? Other churches or others in need of some decent used things ? Can message me if you have some boxes to part with and I would come pick them up at from SS to 466A, don't know my way around the new Finney area that well. Thanks !

Walmart
When we moved here last year found we could get lots of boxes at Sams bake shop. A little small but price was right. |
Is there a particular day or time you have to go to get a few from Walmart ? Do you ask at the customer service, or ? Thanks for any leads...

Have noticed walking around Walmart at various times carts loaded with boxes. Probably hit and miss. |
Most Lowe’s, and I think Home Depot, sell boxes. They are available in different sizes and sturdiness. You will need a big roll of tape to tape the bottom when you unflatten them.
Spending a few bucks is easier than running around to get free ones. I always have a stash of a few flattened new boxes in the garage so when I get in the mood to get rid of stuff, I am ready to go. |
