Cell phone repair
 

Hello everyone, I am looking for a recommendation for cell phone repair. I dropped my phone and now I have a lovely black screen.. Any suggestions? I don't belong to the geek squad at BB.

Staples, 352-750-9801 - apparently repairs phones at their store on 441 in front of Target

Repair Wireless, 352-641-0435 - on 441 the address is 127 US 441 Lady Lady, that should be a free standing building just south of 466 on the left side just before the Flag Store

Another vote for Ubreakitifix at Southern Trace. Knowledgeable, economic, honest service.

We have used U break it twice.

Once wife dropped her phone and screen would not go back on and they fixed it within 2 hours.

Second time they thought it was the motherboard and suggested we return to Samsung for repair. Did not charge for their service. Returned to Samsung and they fixed it but took about 10 days to get it back.

It seems like cell companies are out of the business of repairing phones.

Does your cellphone have a screen protector and a case? Or, do you carry the bare cellphone around?

I’ve seen people that carry cellphones with severely cracked screens and the cellphones look very beat up. They never have a screen protector or case. The cellphones are very slippery to hold without a case.

I have a holster case, which has protected my iPhone when it was accidentally dropped many times. The screen protector cracked a couple of times, which protected the glass screen from cracking. The cracked screen protector can be easily replaced.

So, after you get your cellphone repaired or replaced, if you don’t have a screen protector and case, you should consider buying them to protect your cellphone.

I’ve also used Jacob’s in Wildwood. Honest & very economical.

UbreakitIfixit, they are quick, wonderful and really reasonable. They are in the Publix shopping center off 466. They will give you cost of repair when you bring it in.

I HIGHLY recommend that you call each of the companies listed to get a quote to replace your cracked screen...I'd be very surprised if ubreakifix is price competitive.

and if they cannot in fact fix it you do not pay for the repair
