Looking for a mortgage insurance company. Any suggestions?

Are you referring to a policy that is basically a life insurance policy to pay off the mortgage when you die? If so, you can usually save a lot of money by buying a regular term life insurance policy in an amount sufficient to cover the mortgage.

I don't think you can select your own PMI company. The lender does that and you pay the premiums.
