A Nash Metropolitan was my first car. My folks sent me money to buy a car since I was of age and not their "legal" worry any more. They sent enough to buy a Nash Rambler, their choice, but I bought this little car in turquoise and white, instead, and drove it in city traffic every day to work. It was fun. The mistake I made, being young and stupid, was trading it in on a used 1957 Chevy Bel Air, that turned out to be a real dud.
