Service for 2002 Corvette - George Nahas or AccuTech Automotive?
Hello,
I did a search on TOTV because I need to have service done on my 2002 Corvette (45,000 miles). I've seen recommendations for AccuTech and George Nahas and I'm not sure which one to choose. Just to give you an idea of the service I need: 1. I think a bearing on my tension arm is going (not sure if it might be weather related because I started hearing it after I drove it in the rain on saturday; I started it this morning and now I don't hear it. 2. Warning Indicators: Service ABS, Service Active Handling, Service Traction Control. Thanks. |
Michael's auto repair
Fruitland park 352 365-2955 Don't be fooled by his unimpressive looking shop, he knows his trade and drives an older Corvette... |
Go to dealer Ca Ching $$$$$$$.

I've used Accu-Tech for many years and I'm very happy with their service.
The dealer would be my last choice, based only on past experience. |

Accutech for our 98 and 61 Corvette.
Bobby can handle any year any issue... he is honest and reasonable.... you will not get such personal care at any dealership! |
I heard Bobby sold it

I had an 03 Vette myself, great car. What "tension arm" are you referring to? If you're referring to something in the suspension, the urethane bushings can get noisy especially in cold weather. As to your warning lights, be sure you have a well charged battery. A battery with a lesser charge can still start the car but the electronics won't be happy.
Good luck, Jim |

It's the tension arm that the belt goes around under the hood. The error messages have accumulated over several months. I did change the battery recently.
