Crazies
 

We were on the cart path going towards the tunnel under Buena Vista by Laurel Manor when
a car came out of the tunnel at a high speed turned left got on the cart path and almost hit us in the Golf Cart as she swerved and hit the side of the path as she went by at a high speed. The added drama to this was that a Sheriff's car was sitting beside the building in the circle just outside of the Tall Trees entrance and had a total view of the whole thing and he must have been sleeping to ignore it? A guy on a bike was going by at the same time and stopped to ask if were OK as the person almost hit him too. He also remarked about the Sheriff Deputy doing nothing. I guess it's that 'Crazy" time of year and all the inmates are out
of their cages. :ohdear:

Was there a deputy in the car? Very often they just leave cars empty to make us think they are watching.

Sometimes the cop cars are empty.
You should have knocked on the window.................Oh wait, you might have been shot.
Glad all are safe.


I have a high level of respect for our local coppers, but sometimes they are not at their best.

We were crossing the Brownwood Bridge going South when two golf carts ahead of us made a u-turn. Unbelievable carts on both sides of the bridge had to stop as these two carts turned around.
