App uninstall/install
Occasionally, when I have a problem with an app on my Android phone, I have to uninstall and reinstall the app.
For example, I was playing a smooth jazz station on my Pandora app. It gave me an error message and would not play. So, I uninstall the app and reinstalled it through the Play store. When I reinstalled the app, it opened with the same jazz station that I had. I would think that installing a new app would bring to a new version. Just curious why this happens. |
Sometimes, you can do a "force stop" on the app and it will correct errors without uninstalling it. But, I think the reason the new app went to the same station was because it remembered your user name and password, or the station was stored on your phone as a cookie.
