Yard trimmings
 

Hello. New to TV. I need to trim bushes. What do I do with the trimmings? Can we put it out for trash pickup? Does it require a special bag or regular plastic leaf bag work? Thanks in advance.

No special bags. Everything you put out gets trucked to the same incinerator in Okahumpka. Heat from trash is used to generate electricity.

Yes, out with the trash. It was different until last year when TV changed trash methodology.

I think any bag will do nowadays. I use the paper lawn bags when I have major trimming but for a twig or two I just put it in the trash.

I still like to use the brown paper bags for yard waste, as the plastic will rip too easily
