What's being built on 44 near the Sumter/Lake county line?
 

Heading East on 44 near the Lake County line.

Across from some storage place. Doesn't appear to be Villages property.

Land cleared on a large parcel and a lot of material being moved around.

Somewhere over there east of the Lake Deaton Plaza a large RV Park is being built that was in the paper probably 9 months to a year ago. They might be starting on that and again it might be something else.

I checked online for building permits. It will be an RV Resort.

Sigh, looked like a perfect site for a Costco!

Darn.

Good we do not need a Costco

And I was hoping it was another bank. We obviously can't have enough of those here.

I was hoping for a mattress or a hearing aid store.

Right next to a Cell Phone store.

I was hoping for another gas station with car wash. But would settle for another Bank, hearing aid store or even a cell phone store. Oh how could I forget the much needed apartments. They all seem to add a bit of quaintness to our area that most residents want and will help support the need for the large multi lane road now being under utilized. :faint:

I guess we need another RV park.

Actually, yes we do if it’s well done. We lived full time in our motorhome for over 5-years before buying a place here and we have a lot of friends who stop by on their travels. I’ve visited all the RV park options near the southern end of TV and none are first class facilities. I’d be happy to see one in that location that I could recommend to friends.
