Thank you so much to everyone who offered advice and especially to those who gave me the names and email addresses to those at Headquarters, that one did the trick! Carpeting has been scheduled to be put in at the end of the week. There's a lot of good info and wisdom in this group and I really appreciate the quick responses...you've made my Mom very happy.

So glad this all worked out for you. Terrible that you were forced to go through the hassles and stress of it all. And certainly NOT a very good example of "customer service and satisfaction" by Lowes. Buyer beware.
