Parler.com....a Facebook alternative
Is Xfinity blocking access to Parler, or do I have a modem/router problem? I can access Parler using my cell phone and Pure Talk data without issue.
When I have my cell phone connected to Xfinity WIFI I get the following error message: "Your request has failed due to a Unable to resolve host "api.parler.com": No address associated with hostname" Thanks for any help!! |
Why not call Xfinity tech hotline ?

I am not at home, but in a rental that has Xfinity.
Perhaps someone who has Xfinity WIFI would be kind enough to try and access Parler.com and see what happens?! |

I expect a million people will complain and they will put out a statement that it was an error. Yeah, right. kathy |
I was just able to log in from my computer (Macbook) using our Xfinity wifi. I got a new login screen (one that I have never seen before) and had to log in with my account credentials. All is well at this point. (The UI has changed a bit.)

Apparently Parler let their encryption key expire yesterday and their DNS security is failing.
I'd stay away from this website! |
OP, you stated you are in a rental, and I am guessing the home owner has limits installed on this service.

You can try using a VPN service Iook up what that is. You can go to Google incognito and delete all your cookies first, or you can install firefox, or duck duck go go as new browsers and try all of these.

OP was asking for a solution to a technical problem. A number of replies became partisan and political or personally directed and were removed. The basic question has been answered.
