Empathy for The Queen

I know what it is like to lose a cousin.

To see her ride in the car alone, to see her sit in the church alone, to see her just alone ... when we got used to seeing her with her constant companion and husband, it is sad.

Don't know what you are trying to infer, or what sort of reaction you are trying to get with this crass post, but Prince Phillip was her husband, not her cousin.
Please keep your snide remarks to yourself.

FYI.
Elizabeth and Philip were second cousins once removed (by descent from Christian IX of Denmark and Louise of Hesse-Kassel) and third cousins (by descent from Queen Victoria and Prince Albert).

Thanks for the genealogy lesson. I was having trouble dozing off for my nap but you resolved that issue.

I liked prince Phillip, he was like my grandpa, didn’t sugar coat stuff. Yes, I have empathy for anyone that been together that long.

No empathy for the Royals , my roots go back through generations of Irish Catholics from Belfast , many imprisoned during the rebellions right up to the time of the recent troubles including a grandfather locked up after the Easter Rebellion , at 82 I’ve got what they call Irish Alzheimer’s which means I can’t remember anything except the grudges

That isn't like you at all. See what happens when you move off campus? See what those Carolinians have done to you?

Polls show that the Queen and Prince Phillip are liked by most Americans...including me.

Say you're just kidding as usual. It's not too late to move back, you know.

I don’t need reparations but I do

I feel empathy for the Queen because her grandson flipped and went rouge on the family.

I thought it was funny. Never understood why people follow these people anyway.
