Kansas teacher asks kids to be in wedding

WICHITA, Kan. Students squealed with delight when their newly engaged Kansas teacher asked them to be in her wedding in a TikTok video.

Alexandra Stamps popped the question to her class of fifth-graders at McLean Science and Technology Magnet Elementary School in Wichita this week as Kina Grannis’ cover of the Elvis Presley ballad “Can’t Help Falling in Love” played in the background.

Good news today...
- I woke up on the green side of the grass today.
- My legs walked me to the kitchen
- My Keurig machine still works
-I can afford to buy K cups :)
- The half ‘n half in my fridge hasn’t expired yet
- My eyes allowed me to see the sunrise
- I heard birds chirping when I stepped outside and felt the morning dew between my toes on the lush, green grass
- Tomorrow marks the one year anniversary since I moved to The Villages

- I am alive, healthy, happy and grateful

Daily “Fun” Not Good Enough?
 

Wow! If having The Villages Daily Fun and WVLG as your sources of news isn’t enough, maybe you need to move closer to the center of the bubble.

We turned off all TV News a few years back .... that should help you out. No news seems to be good news I guess.

After picking up the mail, I golf-carted to the lake to watch the ducks and gator swimming. Also the cormorants swimming and diving for fish. Fun!

Talk about "Upside Down", "WOKE" world. For the last four years all I hear / read about is all the "Happy Valley", beautiful comments re. life in The Villages. Almost everyone complains about the rose colored glasses worn by the creators of the Daily Sun. (I personally feel quite offended by the Associated Press newswire which is FAR LEFT pablum.) But again, where is all the "gloom and doom" ?

The Chesapeake Bay and family always make me happy.

Can't get much happier than that.
