YOUR Humane Society SPCA is Celebrating 39 Lifesaving Years with Hope!

This May, YOUR Humane Society SPCA will be celebrating it's 39th Anniversary! We have been able to help animals in need for 39 years because of YOUR support! We're focusing on our Hope Fund this anniversary year and ask you to help us continue our mission to protect animals with a tax-deductible gift at yhsspca.org/hopefund. Our Hope Fund goal is to raise $39,000 to continue providing lifesaving care for animals with critical medical needs such as amputations, eye injuries, heartworm treatment, emergency c-sections, etc. These animals would otherwise have no chance of living happy pain free lives if we could not afford to take them in our care.

Our Hope Fund was created in 2000 and named after a tiny kitten who was thrown from a moving vehicle and suffered from major facial injuries. Hope was rushed to us for emergency care and fortunately survived to enjoy a life filled with love from thereon. Over the last 21 years, many animals have needed special medical care such as Lillith, a lovely dog who suffered a near decapitation from a cable used as a collar which became embedded in her as she grew. Katsuro was a helpless 10 week old kitten who suffered numerous horrific injuries to his head and hind leg after being thrown from and run over by cars. He required extensive time in veterinary care as his jaw, tongue and dental trauma were so severe in addition to having his hind leg amputated from multiple breaks. Trooper, an innocent puppy was found abandoned with an irreparably broken leg that required amputation. He was soon able to live and play pain free with his new adopted family. Alex and Annie were two adorable puppies who needed immediate medical care as they were at great risk for having Parvo, a deadly and highly contagious virus.

Please give what you can to help our Hope Fund continue where critical care gives animals hope. Donate at yhsspca.org/hopefund or simply text 39years to 41444 to celebrate 39 years of giving hope to local animals.
