Anybody know of a good painter?
 

Anybody know of a good painter interior painter? Also do you know of anyone that knows how to get rid of the pop corn ceiling? A good painter I used to have told me that you can spray paint the ceiling with the colour of paint that you want and it will be the type of paint that the dust and debris that popcorn ceiling sticks to will not happen.

What the painter told may be true, but if you search 'popcorn ceiling' you will find several threads and lots of discussions on this including DIY solutions.

A friend of mine went out and bought some contraption that attached to the shop-vac and basically ran heavy grit over it. He did a bedroom in about an hour. Still, a very dusty job. Some people scrape as well.
