Snow scene in Carson NF in New Mexico.
 

On a very recent trip we were traveling back east on Hwy 64 through Carson National Forest and happened on this scene. These photos were taken with a Sony point and shoot camera by my wife, Sharon.

Brrrr... lovely detail in the snow. But still brrrrr.

Nice! Thank you! Having lived in Los Alamos in Northern NM for many years it does not feel as cold as it looks because of low humidity and lots of sunshine most of the time.

Whenever we are in this area we stay at The Trails End in Chama, NM. The drive through Carson NF is always a treat. In this case, the roads were dry and we were warm in the Jeep!
