In Service Partnership with United Way of Lake & Sumter Counties, cost-free clinical services are provided by licensed, insured and background-checked professionals.

Does United Way receive government funding?
United Way itself does not receive government funding. However, most of the agencies United Way funds do receive government grants for specific programs, such as emergency shelter, counselling, health care, and crisis intervention.

If we are returning to normal why ZOOM meetings?
Only enforces the fact we have not returned to normal

Normal is relative and different for everyone. While some people are eager to go back to in-person events, others are not. We are all still trying to make our way. We are eager to get back to in-person events but until we can find locations that will accommodate us we, unfortunately, are still having webinars via ZOOM.
