I always look at the wonderful photos you share.
When I opened this one, I immediately thought of Richard Adams novel Watership Down, published in 1972. The book was a bestseller.
The author and his family said that Watership Down was just a story about rabbits, but it has been read and discussed for decades as having a lot more to it. (I did not see the movie adaption, but I have read that it was awful in its interpretation and did not do the book justice.)
Anyway, my point about the photo you are sharing this morning is that it would be a perfect cover for the book Watership Down. A Google of 3 words (Watership Down covers) will bring up several covers used throughout the decades of the book’s popularity.
Your rabbit photo is better than any of those because not only is it an outstanding capture, it is a perfect fit for the storyline of Watership Down.
If there is ever a Watership Down reprinting in search of a cover, yours would win.
There are many times when I see more in your photos than just a lovely picture. . .I think that makes them art.
Thank you for a smile this morning and a memory of novels past.
