2018 quiet tech gas golf cart muffler
 

Caution!!! Cart had no power and Villages Carts could not get to it for weeks so called Todd Casey Cart repair. His Tech came out and said it was a clogged spark arrester. After completed he said it was caused by muffler problems. He said he drilled holes in arrester and blew it out but need to get new muffler to solve the problem. This took care of the symptom but not the problem. When I went to Villages to replace the muffler they said it would have been covered by warranty if he had not put holes in the arrester, Now it is going to cost me over $350.00
Do not let someone other than dealer handle this!!! Todd Casey just cost me $350.00 plus his service call. WOULD NOT RECOMMED CASEY Cart repair.

Why didn't Casey install a new muffler?

Because he's not qualified by Yamaha to do warranty work.

You called Todd Casey or BUT you could have waited “weeks”.
The spark arrester is a separate part from the muffler, lame excuse from Villages Golf Carts.

Could the OEM be one piece???...............Yep...................Lame? ?, nope.
