Golf Cart Policy on TV Courses Starting June 1

Posted on The Golf The Villages website:

Effective June 1, 2021, we will return to standard golf car procedures, as defined in the established operational guidelines.
This includes pairing up and limiting to 2 golf cars per group.
We continue to request your assistance with avoiding high traffic areas and keeping golf cars on paths as much as possible.

This could get interesting. There is no way anyone is getting in my cart unless I am certain that they have been vaccinated.

Good reason to walk.

I still wonder how they reconcile forcing somebody out of their cart when they have paid their trail fees to use it.

Contact TV manager Richard Bair (352) 751-3939 to share your feelings.

The unknown is: Was the fee based on more than single occupancy.

Isn't there still the option to have more than two carts, just not in the fairway??

The annual or semi-annual trail fee is certainly interesting. It covers the couple in a house and allows both of them to ride in any golf cart. It can be their own golf cart, a friend's golf cart, or a $3 rental cart at the course. If you don't pay the annual or semi-annual trail fee then each will pay $4 whenever they ride in any golf cart. How many people are riding in the cart is irrelevant.

Wrong.
How the fee was determined is relevant.
Have a good day.

I want to let everyone know that Mr. Baier, our District Manager had major surgery in April to remove a tumor attached to several organs. He has also received chemo treatments. He is a very good man and thankfully is recovering to slowly return to work full time.

Everyone has issues that are important. I am sure he will address this issue as soon as he can.

I am not sure what you mean. The trail fee is per person, not per cart. Two people with paid trail fees in one cart isn't any different than two people with paid trail fees in two carts.

That's okay.

Thanks for clarifying.
