Electrician recommendations needed
 

Looking for someone to add some outlets in the enclosed Lanai and change the under cabinet light fixtures to LED.

We’ve used Lenhart Electric 352-748-5818, in Wildwood on several occasions both to move boxes, and to add outside outlets. We’ve been very happy with their work.

We use Pike's and have been completely satisfied with them.

We’ve been collecting quotes and pikes we just got in a kind of surprised me all they gave me was a per hour class of $85 and yet the job that we described is pretty straightforward so is that a standard way that they give estimates? Or did they give you an actual real estimate of the job scope thanks for your help.

Most small NY electrical companies charge by device and conduit/cable runs.
For instant: $175 per outlet and $10 (per foot) conduit cable run.
Plus cost of devices.
Let's say you want an outlet that is 10 feet away from the closest outlet.
$100 for conduit run, $175 to mount the device on the wall and $5.00 for cost of the device and its plate cover.
Total cost: $280.00
One day, it could take 1 hour for an electrician to do the job, on another day 4 hours. Depending on the situation, but should come to the same price. Surface mounted raceway is extra.

Does anyone know of an electrical tinker to fix our cool fiber optics Christmas tree. I know, buy a new one, but they don't make this style anymore. Help appreciated. Thanks.

I would think the most obvious point of failure with a fiber optic Christmas tree would be the the light source or bulb. The second issue would be the fiber optic core not lining up with the light source. So the obvious question is there a visible light at the bottom? If not there may be a blown fuse or blown bulb.
