I think I figured it out, he is competing with The Onion!

The sad/scary thing is (and I wish I was making this up) that there are people who use this show, Hannity, etc. as their sources for news.

Fox News Channel host Tucker Carlson had the most-watched show in all of cable news for the week ending June 13th, with Tucker Carlson Tonight delivering an average total audience of 2.8 million viewers. The show also led among viewers 25-54, the demographic group most valued by advertisers...

If only that were true and he and his sheeple weren't deadly serious. His popularity simply proves that the visceral reaction of crazy conspiracies, anger, hatred, racism, bigotry and prejudice - are stronger than decency and tolerance.

Fomenting the ugly base emotions toward those who are different, from those who are petrified that their privilege and societal superiority is on the wane, is a strong pull for a lot of low IQ people.

This is true, and his lawyers stated in court that no intelligent person would take what he says seriously.

Take your fact and my fact and it is a pretty damning indictment on America. Or he is competing with The Onion and everyone is looking for a good laugh.

When you take words out of context, you can apply any meaning you desire. Not going to argue about this at all, no need. Just wanted to point out that one-half of this country doesn't think along the same lines, attempts to denigrate all of them will not further your mission. Just saying.

Just read U.S. District Judge Mary Kay Vyskocil's opinion, leaning heavily on the arguments of Fox's lawyers: The "'general tenor' of the show should then inform a viewer that [Carlson] is not 'stating actual facts about the topics he discusses and is instead engaging in 'exaggeration' and 'non-literal commentary.'

Almost sounds like The Onion...

Tucker is THE BEST!!!

I chuckle along with him when he laughs at various absurdities.

I love Jesse Watters as well and miss Bill O'Reilly!

Tucker is fine. I prefer Greg Gutfeld. He has best show going right now.

I miss his bow tie.

this is from the judge from Carlson's defense against defamation:
"Fox persuasively argues, that given Mr. Carlson's reputation, any reasonable viewer 'arrive[s] with an appropriate amount of skepticism' about the statement he makes."
