Pet Friendly Hotel/Motell

Can anyone suggest a pet friendly hotel/motel along the I-95 corridor close to the North Carolina border?

When we traveled with cats, we used this list for I-95 travel. Although it says dog friendly, most also take cats. Inquire with the hotel/motel first.

The list is not in alphabetical order but it is geographical order along I-95 starting with Maine. When we traveled with pets, we used La Quinta, usually, as they are all pet friendly.

I bought a "Pet Friendly Hotels & Motels in the USA" at Barnes and Noble a few years ago. My pet has since passed away and I gave it to my daughter, who travels with two dogs. She said it has come in very handy, as she and her husband travel a lot and won't ever kennel their dogs.

Go to Bringfido.com. This site list pet friendly hotels along your route. Also, La Quinta’s Inns are all pet friendly.

North Carolina border with Virginia or South Carolina? I do the drive several times a year.

Places I've stayed with our dog that were all excellent (and low dog fees):
Country Inn and Suites in Dunn, NC
Comfort Suites Lumberton, NC
Country Inn and Suites Wilson, NC
Country Inn and Suites Rocky Mount, NC
Country Inn and Suites Ashland, VA (Dunkin literally outside the front door)

Every La Quinta. Going north there is a Holiday inn in Fayetteville that you have to call directly. In Florence we always used the La Quinta coming south.

Hampton Inn in Benson NC. Large dog park right next door. Option - If you use google maps, they will help find pet friendly motels along your route.
