I am looking for a recommendation for a local travel agent who can help with airline reservations for 2 people who want to travel in different classes, but on the same plane - internationally. Anyone have any suggestions? Thank you in advance for your help.

Do you know what airlines fly to your destination? If so, it wouldn't be difficult to book that sort of thing yourself. Many travel agents don't book air fare any more unless it is part of a more extensive land trip or cruise because the airlines don't pay commissions.

You can use a site like Kayak.com to find out what flights are available and then go to the individual airline web sites to book.

Agree with the above - booking the flights yourself is very easy. I use Google Flights, but Kayak and others are just as good.

You will have to book each separately, but you can see what's available in each class before making the first booking. Most airlines have a generous cancellation policy at present.

If you post here where you want to go and when, and in which classes of travel, someone can check availability for you and provide suggestions.

Travel agents will likely charge you. There are no commissions available for air tickets only. Perhaps if you have Aaa they can assist you
