Family traveling by motor home

Family members are coming through for a couple of days. They are traveling by motorhome towing a car. They will stay in our home but wondered where we can park their rig. We’re in a courtyard villa neighborhood so streets are pretty tight. There is parking at the postal station. We have also seen campers in the extended lots behind the square. Is there someone we need to check with or have you any suggestions? Thanks.

You might try checking with Lazy Days RV dealership on 44 near 301. They have a campground (or did when it was Alliance RV).

If they will be staying with you, have them contact Baker Brothers Storage on 44Hwy near Brownwood. They can park their rig their for a one month fee of $55.

If it's only a couple days go to your regional rec. center and get a parking permit, otherwise you will have to go to one of the local RV storage facilities or Recreation Plantation.

Go park at the new ballpark, there’s one parked there all the time. It’s in the lot all day and night.

Villages RV Park on Rt 301 just north on the Turnpike in Wildwood. Cheap! My friend stayed there three nights. They have hook ups as well.

The only reply that makes sense to what the OP was asking.
Just a place to park……..nothing else. Geez!

Sorry, have to disagree with you. Using an RV campground (like at Lazy Days) allows you to keep the rig plugged into shore power. You don't have to sleep there.
Just parking at a rec center (I have not seen that in TV but assume it's allowed with a permit) likely would not include any sort of power hookup.

Anyway, there are lots of options for the OP.

Was a hookup asked for?

Maybe it is wanted if the visitors know what they’re in for weather wise. I wouldn’t park an expensive RV for a week or even three days around here without air conditioning. I suppose some do but I hate the smell of mildew/mold.

The Everglades Softball complex usually has big RVs parked there.

All Regional Rec Centers are the only allowed parking for motor homes. Just go inside and ask permission.

For those who don't understand, getting a spot in an RV village can be 40 or $50 per day easily. Yes you can plug in and dump your waste. Getting a storage spot can be $50 a month in any one of the many storage places with units. These at least have a fence and cameras. getting a regular parking spot in The villages might be permittable and free but it would not necessarily have a fence nor a place to plug in or a place to dump your waste.
