Courtyard villa wanted

UPDATE!!! WE HAVE A WINNER! THANKS TO EVERYONE THAT PLAYED, WE APPRECIATE IT. AS A CONSOLATION PRIZE ROXANNE WILL BE CALLING YOU WITH A SPECIAL OFFER TO EXTEND YOUR CAR WARRANTY!! YOU'RE WELCOME!!:1rotfl: REALLY, THANKS TO EVERYONE THAT RESPONDED.
Hi, Everyone.
My last sibling has been wanting to move to The Villages and finally decided this was the year...of course! Her and everybody else, it seems.:ohdear: Her house has a contract of sale on it and she will be down next week to look around and see what she can find. My brother and I have kept an eye on things here and homes are selling at a dizzying pace so we decided to bring our situation to all of you hoping someone can help. We are hoping someone knows someone that knows someone that may be moving or considering a sale...or, maybe even you are! :)
Being a single woman with a tiny pooch, my sister is looking for a 3/2 or 2/2 Courtyard Villa. Stucco or vinyl, no preference. We live in Lake Deaton and Pine Ridge, so we would like to keep her kinda close, but she doesn't mind being up over 466A a bit...St.James, Duval, etc. Her settlement date up in Delaware County,Pa is 8/26 and so she'd like to find someplace she can come down and move right in to.
We do have a Villages Sales Associate on board and a few other realty companies are aware we are looking, too.
If you have that special villa we are looking for, or any leads, please PM me.
If all I've done is give you a good chuckle today, I'm cool with that, too.:1rotfl:
Thanks for reading....

Preowned or new?

New come available frequently as new areas are started and put up for sale.

Lovey2 07-23-2021 03:25 PM

Pre-owned. Nothing below 44, so the new sections are out.
Thanks...

My 2 cents: find a long term rental, this will give you (her)a year to " not make a costly mistake". These pandemic times are causing a buying frenzy. Things could look different in a year. She could rent an apt. also.

I hope your sister finds just what she is looking for not too expensively. I am so glad to hear from you. (See from you, lol) I was thinking about you just the other day. Have a good day and lots of fun with your family.

Thanks, Gracie. She's been going back and forth for a few years now. Kids are grown and out and she is ready to join us. YAY! Thanks for your thoughts. Clear scans for the last few years. Bigger YAY! Hope you and your family are well.

Good advice, thanks! We were thinking along those lines for when she comes down in a week if we don't have anything promising on the line.

I have one at 1168 Calgary St., Village of Dunedin. It is fully furnished.

amdubuc 07-24-2021 06:26 AM

If you decide to consider long term, unfurnished rental.
There’s a Jasmine, I think, that will be available August 1st, in Hemingway.

We have a 2/2 house in historic Village of Silverlake that will be FSBO Aug 1. Excellent condition. I know you said south, but this is on private circle with live oaks. Great location. PM if interested.

Papa_lecki 07-24-2021 06:53 AM

@lovey2

Agree, rent for 6 or 9 months. Don’t buy now.
Good to see someone from DelCo. We live in the area where DelCo, MontCo and ChesCo come together
