CDC Posting new Delta Evidence tomorrow - Friday, 07/30/2021
 

CDC has announced that it will be presenting more information on the Delta variant and more details on the recent findings that more people who are fully vaccinated are getting infected by the Delta variant than originally thought.

However, at this point, they are still not saying those vaccinated that get the Delta are at risk of dying. We will see more tomorrow.

This is known as science - as more is know things change, recommendations change, and projections change.

Hopefully they will have good news, or at least more knowns than unknowns, but we will see what they say tomorrow.

too difficult to separate the facts from the fiction on this one for me....

the powers to be have lost all credibility as far as I'm concerned (across the board I might add)

The Vaccine can save your life.

That is what it was made to do. Anybody can get it that wants it in the U.S.

It is a shot in your arm that makes your body build immunity. The Covid-19 virus can cause a serious and different pneumonia that causes blocking sticky mucous in the lungs that make some people literally choke to death. You are treated if this happens by being placed into a drug induced coma and given supportive measures since antibiotics will not cure this type of pneumonia.

The number of people being hospitalized in the last few days is coming very close to the numbers seen in January of this year. But the ages have dropped.

There is a chance that even with the vaccine you may get the new Delta Variant, but with the vaccine your chance of dying is greatly reduced.

On Tuesday, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) announced a new mask guideline for students, teachers, and staff in K-12 to wear masks regardless of vaccination status, as well as in certain indoor settings, again, also regardless of vaccination status. The move was met with swift criticism, especially and including from former President Donald Trump. Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX), though, takes issue with the data used to justify the new guidelines.




The excerpt Rep. Crenshaw references comes from Andrew Joseph's article published by STAT, "CDC Again Recommends Indoor Masking, Even for Some Vaccinated People."

The excerpt in question reads:

An administration official, speaking on the condition of anonymity, told STAT that health experts do not have studies proving that fully vaccinated people are transmitting the virus. Rather, the official said, the updated guidance is based on studies showing that vaccinated people who contract the Delta variant have similarly high levels of virus in their airways, which suggested that they may be infectious to others. With other variants, vaccinated people had substantially lower levels of virus in their noses and throats compared to unvaccinated people.
Remember when * said that if vaccinated you don't need to wear a mask?

Fact: The P C R test is not effective. It cannot decipher flu from the China virus.

Fact: The vaccine does not work.

Better stock up on toilet paper and paper towels.

I don't understand the point of your post. This thread is about new announcements that are to be made tomorrow, so you posted about old announcements made last Tuesday. Then you add statements disagreeing with those statements by politicians that have no formal background to comment on pandemics.

Then you said, "remember when [someone] said something", and again things change and new information is coming, and this thread is about what is going to be said, not what was said at any time in the past.

So, I guess you just feel reposting the same old things that have been posted hundreds of times in other posts might deflect something that is going to be said?

Seriously, I have no idea WHY you posted that on this thread. I guess if it made you feel good, then that is what counts - ...

And, I am sure the other 7 billion people at risk in the rest of the world also thank you for telling them that they are not at risk, and the families of the 4 million dead so far appreciate you letting them know that their family members didn't really die, it just the biggest lie in the history of pandemics and we found out about it first here... thank you very much

That will be a great relief.

This is why jumping into something completely untested (at least the normal testing) can be catastrophic to many. Best to wait and see.

The CDC is not in charge of this country and certainly not in charge of my life. There will be no mask ever for me and hopefully other Americans that are tired of government trying to control us.

You clearly have absolutely no idea how a PCR test works.

The vaccine does work, actually better than expected.

Agree with you. Look at the numbers, it's plain and simple. Is the vaccine perfect with no side effects? No. Would I take it again knowing everything I do now? Absolutely. We really need to get rid of all of these vaccine misinformation.
