The US as usual is doing very well in the Summer Olympics with winning medals.

I do hope the US Women's Soccer team win over Canada's in about 12 hours or so. May be a hard game to win. Really enjoy watching these soccer games especially when they go to penalty shootouts.

I watched some Olympics - spattering. I DVRd everything and for the limited events I DID see - I Fastfowarded thru ALL the endless commercials and NBC promos. Thank god for the DVR...

One matter I DID see was several of the Medal award ceremonies - the latest Golf (BTW USA Xander Schauffle won the gold!) But talk about P.C. and the Olympic Committee. So many of these athletes had competed very closely, or the respective teams were close together -- no masking needed during competition (the ones I watched anyway). BUT ON THE MEDAL stand --- MASKED UP!!!
It looked absolutely silly. Then for a brief moment they take the masks off for a quick picture. Then back on. silly.

The US Women Soccer team face Australia's team for a shot at the Bronze metal on Thursday, August 5, 2021. They lost to Canada which faces Sweden for the gold.

I really hope US Women's Soccer team looses to Australia for Bronze.

Why?

Very nasty comment. I hope they do not LOSE!

They lost their mojo but will probably win against Australia. Thank God they are not facing Sweden again for the bronze.

I am shocked how nasty some of the posts are. We sure have a lot of unhappy and nasty people living here.
