The owner of the Segway company accidentally rode his Segway off a cliff and died.

I just read that. There are some Segway riders in The Villages.

But no cliffs, thank goodness.

At first we thought it was some sort of a joke
like the Hokey Pokey Guy
and then more tragically that he pulled a Thelma/Louise

Though it might have been painful, they say it's good to go doing what you like

he was not the inventor. He bought the company from the guy who invented the segway.

According to a statement on the Segway site, he was also the chairman of Hesco Bastion Ltd, the world leading manufacturer of protective barriers.

How ironic.
