Custom Windows experience
 

We a new homeowners in TV and want to enclose our lanai. We got a reasonable quote from Custom Windows and are wondering what other people’s experience was with this company.

We had our lanai enclosed by Custom Windows about 8 years ago and they were great and have had no problems. We find that we do not open the sliding doors as much as we thought we would with all the rain and high heat but still like the option on the few nice days in spring and fall. Several of my neighbors have used them also.

We had them enclose our lanai. Excellent service, stickler for details. No problems at all! Highly recommended.

No complaints but for some caulking that need to be redone. They were efficient in completing the installation unlike neighbors who took forever using other firms

Ditto here. We had our lanai windows replaced by them and found them to be professional and did a great job.

They refused to even give me a quote because I live in Marion County, despite the fact that both my neighbors used them to enclose their lanai's, back when you could buy windows and have them installed in a couple of weeks. I guess they weren't so picky about who gave them money back then.

It's been my experience that vendors who treat customers like they own the market tend to be expensive, and then hard to deal with when something goes wrong. I'd avoid them.

We just had our lanai enclosed with floor to ceiling sliding windows. I highly recommend Custom Windows as they did an excellent job. They have a showroom off of 44.

Custom Windows did our last year.

It took longer than they promised due to longer than expected to get the parts from their vendor.

Installation was fine.

Only problem is one latch broke and they will insist on getting the part from their vendor which took 4 weeks so it took 5 weeks for it to be repaired under warranty.

Overall very happy with the job. Did get double pane low E glass.

Excellent company, we did not realize that with the privacy screen you have to take the doors out to clean. Screens do not come off.

They did a job partially enclosing my lanai with sliders which I have had heat and A/C installed. They are excellent. Highly recommended.

We used them a few years ago and we're completely satisfied. Some neighbors went with them after seeing our Lanai enclosed.
Nice to open sliders in spring and fall. One item. I recommend the heavy duty screen. You can see out fine but from looking in from outside you are invisible unless a light is on at night.

Friends had them install theirs and they did an excellent job.

We are in the process of having CSW do ours. ITS BEEN A NIGHTMARE!! We waited 9 months for Windows to come in and they finally came in the other day. They came to do the install and on 5 windows there are defects. They now have to order new windows and they won’t come in for another 3 months. By the way, these are their top of the line windows . Look elsewhere.
