For me, Truman is my favorite. Lots of hills and valleys - very tough course, especially from the black tees. The first hole is easy, then hang on for a wild ride.

SOOOOO, so many are great courses. Pelican is the top of my list, but....

Volusia, right across from Sarasota driving range and TV Golf Sales Center, next to fire station. Gorgeous high views of TV, rolling hills, typically in very good condition. The 3rd Hole is fantastic. Par four, cannot see green from the tee boxes. Golfers ahead are to ring the big bell by the green to alert next 4some they can tee off. Out of bounds/fencing all along the left fairway, huge hills down to water on the right of the far fairway/green. And a big dropoff to the right of the big green. Challenging but a lot of fun.

Chula Vista. Definitely the prettiest course we've played on so far--looks like a picture post card on a bright morning before the dew burns off.

I'd like to have the found-ball monopoly for that lake you have to drive over on the fourth (?) hole.

Too many for me to decide. Volusia, Truman and Roosevelt, Pelican and Heron, Mira Mesa and every other one that has two par fours.

Silver Lake - closed now for renovation

Sarasota , Volusia, Okeechobee and Escambia. They are almost always in the best shape, close to home and fun. After many years of competing as a fairly good amateur I find I don't need to focus on score for a challenge, but in just making great contact with the ball.

Can't pick just one...they're all fun.

I’m also partial to the courses with two par fours. My favorite is Becall, with Roosevelt, Palmetto, Yankee Clipper, and Pelican close in that order. Truman and Volusia have the prettiest views if that is what you’re looking for.

4 courses near Nancy Lopez. Greens are some of the best in the Villages.

I'm a beginner golfer. The oversize cups of El Santiago make it my favorite!!!

Heron, Volusia, Escambia...

I agree!! I enjoy the par 4’s mixed in.

Sweetgum! I keep trying to master the dog-leg par 4. The alligators there keep laughing at me.

Mangrove too. Can’t say how many balls lost there. But I’ll get over the water on #4 yet!
