Villager Teaches Clogging at Manatee Recreation Center
 

If there’s one thing Jan Schantini enjoys about clogging, it’s how joyful it makes her. On Thursdays at Manatee Recreation Center, Schantini, of the Village of Collier in Antrim Dells, offers a clogging class called Happy Feet Cloggers. If you read this and thought “What is clog dancing?” imagine a dancing marionette, strings attached and supporting most of the weight. I’d swear clog dancers must have strings attached, they seem so loose and light. Excellent aerobic exercise. Good balance is required. Here is a YouTube example. My girlfriend and I want to join can you send me more information about the group and do you need tap shoes? When we lived in Kentucky our nanny taught all our children to clog, she should have taught me.
