golf reservation system

Anyone else notice the on line golf reservation system has been down for at least 2 hours this morning?

I tried both via computer and phone finally called the customer service number and they told me system down. Didn't ask why or when it might be restored.

However, maybe some golfers can answer this:

I've played executive courses all of twice in 7 years, but this week was going to help out an old friend just taking up the game. Put in a request for 4 players with 0 points, between 8-11AM on 17 courses, got nothing and this is August. What happens to those who regularly play execs during high season????

I would not have thought that was possible. All 4 are residents, correct? I would call the tee time office and ask them what they think happened. They should be able to tell you why the tee time request was denied.

Well, I can see why it was denied-----I went to the open reservations first thing this AM and there was nothing available (for 4) on any of the 17 courses between 7 AM and 12:17 PM, which I took. So if I wasn't denied, someone else would have been, and there may be many more that were denied as well. As I said, I have no experience with exec courses, but it just seemed odd that I could get a time in August. After all, 3 hour window on 17 courses = 51 course-hours= 383 tee times.

So now let me throw another question out there. I've never been denied a tee time on champ courses, as a priority member. How do non-priority members do getting a tee time for a foursome, especially in high season????

SGR720 You have won the COMMON SENSE prize. Thank You for being resourceful

I have been doing executive tee time requests for a large group for more than 7 years. It is not unusual that all the morning tee times are assigned via the request process. The real question is why a request for a foursome with zero points, 17 courses, and a 3 hour time window was denied. I believe that is a rare event and I suspect there could be an unknown issue at play. Typically, you would need the average number of points to be up around 3 to be denied, and/or a very small time window, and/or a very limited number of courses, YMMV. You don't appear to have hit any of these constraints. Did you ask the tee time office to take a look?

That's Odd.
I was able to get Tee Times for 2 groups this week. My request Times were from: 0930 - 1130.
Get one at Rooservelt 9:45 AM and the other at Hill Top 11:05 AM, both different dates.
Like the others have said, Check with the Front Office.
