Macular degeneration shots need in tv area
Will be coming down in the fall but will need shots before returning north in the spring. Anyone receive treatment and happy with doc?
|
I am not at the point of needing shots. But I highly recommend my macular doctor . He is at Mid Florida Eye, Dr. Wilker.
You are smart in lining up a Doctor ahead of time. We had friends who were down for a month, and he woke up with a blurry spot in one eye. He called every local eye doctor and No one was able to immediately see him. Part of it was COvid protocols. But our local healthcare system is overwhelmed in Snowbird Season, and visitors often can’t get in. He ended up seeing a specialist in Orlando. |
John Randolph, MD
Center for Retina and Macular Disease 4636 Bellwether Ln, Oxford, FL 34484 https://www.crmd.net/ I've been receiving Eyelea shots for a while. Had a different doctor from a different practice who seemed indifferent, hurried, and did not use proper numbing. Dr. Randolph is friendly and very competent. He spends enough time with his patients to hear their concerns. The injection is almost painless. The practice is behind Walmart on 466. |

There is another excellent Eye Clinic on 441, I think it is Florida Eye etc. I would suggest you consult with your Eye Specialist and bring paper work with you. I do know you cannot just walk into the Center that I use and get a shot without first going through extensive examination. |
Thank you so much. Will get this set up so we will have constant care weather north or south.
