Jacobs Flagging Lawn
 

Hi I live in Osceola Hills . I noticed on my security camera a company called Jacobs was spray painting my lawn and placing utility flags. I texted 1 neighbor who live there full time said Jacobs was part of the water dept. and they sprayed and flagged other properties but did not know what the purpose was for. I contacted the CDD and no answer to this point. Usually when they spray and flag areas it means at some point some sort of dig is going to happen. Any one have a answer to my question?

Most are well intentioned but of no binding value. Some are just the class fool who never grew up. I would not tell anyone you are not home. I would contact Jacobs. I would contact the water department. I would again contact the CDD. They may well be trying to research your first request.

Maybe someone next door was having landscaping done? We just had a fairly large landscaping job done and every utility marked our lawn (cable, electric, water) on front back and sides even though there was no work done anywhere near it. Same thing happened when we had our garage expanded which made more sense since all the utilities had to be relocated. It's "call before you dig."
