Free stuff

HP Office Jet Pro 8715 and a new set of ink cartridges—I no longer use. Free to anyone who wants it or can use it. Also, a Sharp LCD TV 37” which I am unsure of its working status. The picture stopped workin-perhaps just an HDMI cable issue that I did not check. PM me if you want either of these items. Again, free.

FYI to anyone who might be interested: the OfficeJet Pro 8715 is a really nice printer. It's an all-in-one that prints, scans, faxes, and copies. It does double-sided (duplex) printing, and has an automatic sheet feeder for when you need to make copies of multiple pages.

It's a little too big for an average-sized desk, you'd probably want it on its own printer table or a sturdy surface on the floor (not a carpet/rug). It'll fit fine on top of a short file cabinet though. When they first came out they ran around $500, current pricing is closer to $300 for a new one.

Edited to add: I was the top HP sales pro at my store when I worked for Staples, back in the day. I won two of these printers from HP. Donated one, gave the other to a friend, because I had already won two other printers from HP, one of which I loved and the other I gave to my sister.

So I kinda know HP products pretty well :)

For buyers, this is typical sometimes called a SPIFF program. It is not just Staples or stationary. You go into a store ask the sales person what they would buy. You do not know that they are directly being paid off to push ....................

Please…I am just a Villager who thinks maybe someone can use these items rather than if I just dispose of them. Why always a conspiracy in a simple message that is meant to perhaps help someone? Really…

I sent a private message to you.

I don't know if my messenger is working correctly but I'm on my way to pick it up, thanks again.

No, I never got spiffed by Staples for selling HPs. Our SPIFFS were mostly for selling extended warrantees. I didn't do well with those because I didn't think they were worth buying, and never pushed them.

I have been using HP computers and printers for decades, and took a personal interest in learning about them. I didn't work for the tech department, I was just a front end cashier. I learned about all the Canon, Brother, and Epson products as well. I also became a sales professional for Lenovo during my 7 years as a part-time cashier at Staples.

I knew more about our tech products than most of the people in our tech department, by the time I left. Because it was (and still is) fascinating to me.

Yes I did recommend HP products to my customers if they asked, because I knew enough about ALL the products we sold, to know my preference was HP - and I was able to explain why.
