Garage door

Does anyone out there know how to adjust the garage door. Mine will sometimes go up all the way then when it shuts off it will roll back down about 6 to 10 inches. Now I also have one of those rolldown 4 panel screendoors. So this poses a problem cause there is a shutoff switch for both when they go up. Now if the switch of the opposit one is in the open position the other wont work. So when the garage door runs back that extra 6 inches nither one will come down. Is there some sort of brake system that locks the garage door in place when it is run up and keeps it there? Any help would be appreciated. I am quite good repairing things and have all the tools so I would like to tackle this myself but would also like any phone numbers of maybe a qualified service man. Thanks again! :mademyday:

It sounds like this problem is for a pro. I would call Home Warranty (753 6222) and ask for a referral.

You can look for the owner's manual online. A lot of them are available nowadays.
